The Naksel Resort is a boutique hotel and is a pretty popular option amongst tourists. So if you are going in the high season, you need to book your rooms at least a month in advance. In commensuration with the traditional Bhutanese architecture & style, the hotel has been crafted from wood and inlaid with beautiful paintings and thangkas. 
 
You can see beautiful views of Mt Jumolhari snow peak (one of Bhutan’s prominent mountains of 7,300 meters) from every room of the Naksel Hotel. You can also stroll around the Ngoba Village that is full of apple orchards, rice paddy fields and potato plantations. For the adventure lover, there is a prospect of trekking to the Ngoba temple that is 45 minutes away from the hotel. 
 
 
 
Comprising of handful of villagers, the Ngoba village has a quiet surrounding. Farmers are mostly occupied with farming in apple orchards, paddy fields, potato etc. Most of the main ingredients required to construct this hotel were sourced locally from the village. 
 
The traditional windows, mud-bricks, framework and furniture etc were locally crafted here and blends Bhtanese traditions with modern amenities.

There are Four kinds of rooms; Signature Suites, Deluxe rooms, luxury rooms and Superior Rooms. Signature suite is 495 USD per night, Deluxe rooms are 250 USD per night and Superior Rooms are 165 USD per night. The hotel charges 20% tax on these rates and 40 USD for an extra bed in any room (these are high season rates... You can get cheaper rates in off season). 
 
Naksel’s in house restaurant is called Olive and it serves Asian as well as Western food. The Chef there is particularly adept at rustling up a good range of fusion food items. 
 
The Coffee House at Naksel is stocked with home baked goodies (it also has a fireplace) and the Bar is called Chachu. You can see Mount Jumalhari from both places. 
 
Of special mention is the Menchu Himalayan Spa which is equipped with trained masseuses who claim to use a range of Himalayan Herbal products to nourish, re-energize and relax the body. Swedish massage, Thai massage, 4 hand massages are offered here. 
 
There is a 100plus capacity holding conference room and business retreat space at the Naksel amidst aesthetically refined settings. Naksel is a good option for the business travelers as well.
